The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing prospective customer sites, energy usage, system modeling and economic viability of Cogenra’s solutions as well as developing project proposals.

The sales engineer is an integral part of the sales team, identifying and evaluating prospective opportunities, clients and partners, including prospects’ site, energy usage and potential economic benefits, to drive market adoption of Cogenra Solar solutions. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales representatives to model physical and economic benefits for prospective clients and partners
  • Create solar system performance modeling design and layout
  • Develop and deliver specific proposals that sell the unique benefits of our system for our prospects, working with sales, marketing, engineering and senior management to define the best solution for the client’s situation
  • Drive follow-up on customer and partner commitments that improve close rates

Desired Experience

  • 1-5 years engineering experience, preferably in energy, facilities, HVAC, development or construction-related roles
  • Client-facing experience with C-level contacts in large and medium size companies
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
